And it all started like this
When I was fifteen I was thrown around
'Til the day that I grew and finally found
Violence within my heart
It broke me inside and made its way out
Fighting for four years day in and day out
The blood that was spilled on the pavement from my mouth
They woke up the demon deep inside of me
So I lashed out at the ones who claimed to love me
And they never knew who I was or cared at all
It makes me wonder who they think they are
I guess I'll lay it all down to rest
I’ll let go of the past
And start a new restoration now
Was so afraid to walk out at night
Chased by the demons living by the street lights
Dragging me back into their hell
The alley's where I was beaten until now
(They can't stop me)
I feel the rage now
(I won't break now)
I will not fall down
And they never knew who I was or cared at all
It makes me wonder who they think they are
I guess I'll lay it all down to rest

I've seen the light at the end of the tunnel
Making my way away from all the troubles
Life has brought me in a body bag
That's filled with the corpse of my painful regrets
